What is the difference between the SUITCASE Singlefold ramps and the SUITCASE TRIFOLD® AS ramp?
The SUITCASE Singlefold ramps fold in half one time and remain the overall length of the ramp when folded. The TRIFOLD AS ramp folds in half and then in half the long way to make the ramp half as long and half as wide when folded.
What is the difference between the AS and non-AS?
The AS ramp has a black, high-strength, applied surface that is textured to provide excellent traction. The non-AS ramp is our standard surface where the slip-resistant tread is extruded into the aluminum.
Why do some ramps have the black applied surface, but not others?
This is a preference point for some people. Both surfaces are very durable and slip-resistant.
Can this ramp be separated?
Yes. By removing two bolts, the ramp can be separated into two sections for easy transport or storage.
What are the plates for at the top and bottom of the ramp?
There is a fixed top transition plate for secure placement with holes for attaching to the supporting surface. There are also two independently adjustable ground transition plates that allow for smoother transfers from ramp-to-ground and ground-to-ramp.
Can you connect multiple ramps together?
No. We suggest checking out some of our other ramps if longer lengths are needed. SUITCASE TRIFOLD AS and GATEWAY® 3G ramps are available up to 10’ and PATHWAY® 3G ramps can be connected to achieve whatever length you need.
How do you keep the ramp from moving?
Use the provided clevis pins or screws through pre-drilled holes at the top of each section to secure the ramp to the supporting surface.
Are there handrails available?
No. If you need a portable ramp with handrails, check out our GATEWAY 3G Solid Surface Portable Ramp, which has two different handrail style options.
What ramps can the TLE be used with?
The TLE can be used with any of our aluminum SUITCASE ramps.
Is there a bolt that attaches the TLE to the top transition plate?
Yes, after inserting the TLE, there is a carriage bolt that secures the TLE to the top transition plate.
Are TLEs sold in pairs?
Yes, the TLE comes in a set of two so that one can be used for each side of the ramp.
Will the TLE affect the amount of weight I can use on the ramp?
Yes, the use of the TLE reduces the weight capacity of the ramp to 500 lbs.

Limited Lifetime Warranty – Homecare Products, Inc. dba EZ-ACCESS
1. Warranty Coverage
Homecare Products, Inc., doing business as EZ-ACCESS (“Manufacturer”), warrants that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the lifetime of the product. This limited warranty applies only to Manufacturer’s parts and components, excluding cosmetic elements such as the powder-coated finish, applied non-skid tape, and similar items.
2. Remedy
The Manufacturer’s sole obligation, and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy, under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of parts and components found, upon inspection, to be defective to the Manufacturer’s reasonable satisfaction.

Repairs or replacements will be made at no charge for parts or labor.

For discontinued products, the Manufacturer reserves the right to substitute with a comparable item or refund the purchase price.

Prior to making a claim, the purchaser must contact the Manufacturer for service. At its discretion, the Manufacturer may issue a Return Authorization (RA) or schedule an on-site examination.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required.
3. Limitations and Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:

Failure to report defects within 30 days of discovery

Damages resulting from improper installation, alterations, relocation, overloading, negligence, accident, vandalism, misuse, or abuse

Ordinary wear and tear

Environmental factors such as shrinkage, warping, fading, or corrosion

Changes to the surrounding ground or structures

Soil movement or shifting site conditions

Acts of God, including but not limited to: fire, explosion, water damage, wind, hail, lightning, flood, snow, earthquake, and insect or animal damage
The Manufacturer assumes no liability for injury or property damage resulting from product use, regardless of warranty status.
4. Warranty Disclaimer
This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Where such disclaimers are not permitted by law, any implied warranties are limited to the duration of this written warranty.
5. Limitation of Liability
Manufacturer shall not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed the purchase price of the covered product.
6. Additional Rights
This warranty is in addition to other rights the purchaser may have under applicable laws. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to all purchasers.
